Privacy policy

Postvisor (postvisor.app) is run by Eleniam, Limited, doing business as Eleniam (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when you use Postvisor, what we do with it, who processes it for us, how long we keep it and how to delete it.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, a hashed password (never the password itself), the name shown in the app and your time zone.
- From Instagram, when you connect your account through Instagram’s login:
- your profile basics: account ID, username, account type, and follower and post counts
- your posts: captions, hashtags, media type, dates, links, and the video, image and carousel files
- each post’s insights: views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, follows, profile visits, watch time and skip rate
- the comments and replies on your posts: their text and when they were posted. We don’t keep commenters’ usernames or IDs, only a one-way code that groups one person’s comments
- the access token Instagram issues so we can sync, stored encrypted
- From TikTok, if you connect it once that’s available: the same kinds of data about your own videos.
- What you make in Postvisor: saved ideas, notes, shoot lists, scripts and your edits.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to provide Postvisor to you:
- to sync your posts and insights each night, and whenever you ask
- to transcribe your reels, read the text on screen and on your slides, and label each post (its topic, hook style and whether it’s sponsored)
- to score each post against your own typical and learn which topics, hooks, lengths and posting times work for you
- to learn your voice from your transcripts and captions, and write ideas and scripts in it
- to keep the service running, fix problems and help you when you ask
We don’t sell your data, use it for advertising or show it to other creators. Postvisor never posts, comments or changes anything on your accounts.
Who processes it
These providers run parts of Postvisor for us, and each gets only what its part needs:
- Vercel hosts the app and stores your files
- Neon hosts the database
- Modal runs the processing: syncing, transcription and learning
- Groq transcribes the speech in your videos
- Anthropic (Claude) reads the text on screen, labels posts, and writes ideas and scripts
- Voyage AI turns text into embeddings, used to find similar posts and group them into topics
People at Eleniam can see your data to run and support the service. We’ll disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open, so the learning gets better as you post. If you remove Postvisor from your Instagram account, we stop syncing it but keep what we have, so you can connect again later. If you ask us or Meta to delete your data, we delete the data that came from Instagram within 30 days. Closing your account deletes everything. Copies in our providers’ backups expire within 30 days. See Data deletion for how.
Your choices
- You can see your data in the app.
- You can ask for a copy of it, a correction, or its deletion by emailing support@postvisor.app.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights; we honor these requests wherever you live.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections, access tokens are encrypted at rest, passwords are hashed, and access to your data is limited to the people and providers above.
Children
Postvisor is for people 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We’ll post any changes here and update the date above. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email first.
