Deleting your data
Last updated October 25, 2026
You can have your data deleted from Postvisor at any time, in either of two ways.
Ask us
Email support@postvisor.app from your account’s email address and say what you’d like deleted: the data from Instagram, or your whole account. We’ll reply when it’s done.
Ask Meta
If you ask Meta to delete the data Postvisor has from your Instagram account, Meta tells us and we delete it straight away. Meta gives you a link and a confirmation code to check on it.
Removing Postvisor from Instagram
In the Instagram app, go to Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites, find Postvisor and tap Remove. Instagram tells us, and we stop syncing your account. Removing the app doesn’t delete anything: your data stays in your Postvisor account, so connecting again picks up where you left off. To delete it too, ask us or Meta.
What gets deleted
- Instagram data: your posts and their files, insights, comments, transcripts and on-screen text, and everything learned from them (findings, topics, your voice profile).
- Your whole account: all of the above, plus your ideas, scripts, shoot lists and sign-in.
We delete it within 30 days, and copies in our providers’ backups expire within 30 days. The Privacy policy has more on what we keep.
